Maison Henriette (“we”, “us”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect through maisonhenriette.com.au, why we collect it, and what you can do about it. It’s written to align with the Australian Privacy Principles under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
What we collect
Standard browsing data (pages viewed, approximate location, device type, referring site) via Google Analytics. If you join our early-access list, we also collect your email address, an optional first name, which product you were viewing, and which marketing campaign brought you here. We do not collect payment details — this site does not currently process orders or payments.
Why we collect it
To understand which pieces people are genuinely interested in, to improve this site, and to notify early-access subscribers when a piece becomes available. We don’t sell your information, and we don’t use it for anything beyond these purposes.
Cookies
We use Google Analytics, which sets cookies to distinguish visitors. You can block or clear these through your browser settings, or opt out via Google’s Analytics opt-out tool. Blocking cookies won’t affect your ability to browse or use the early-access form.
Who we share it with
We use a small number of service providers to run this site: Google (analytics), Vercel (hosting), and a database provider (storing early-access signups). Each only receives the information it needs to do its job, and none are permitted to use your data for their own purposes. Some of these providers process data on servers outside Australia, including in the United States.
Data security
We take reasonable technical steps to protect the information we hold, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and access limited to what each service needs.
Your rights
You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the information we hold about you, or unsubscribe from emails at any time, by contacting hello@maisonhenriette.com.au. If you’re not satisfied with our response, you can lodge a complaint with the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner. If you’re located outside Australia, you may have further rights under local law (such as the GDPR) — contact us and we’ll do our best to assist.
Children’s privacy
This site isn’t directed at children, and we don’t knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.
Changes to this policy
If we make material changes, we’ll update this page and the date above.
